About me...

Because this journey is intensely personal, there will be times when my posts will be about more than just rebuilding the physical aspects of my life. They may be random and sometimes I think they may not even make sense to some. But whatever I post here will be as honest as I can make it, no punches pulled, telling it like it it. I hope that I can share some insight with others who might be going through a similar transitory period in their own lives. With luck and perseverence I know I will eventually successful in my new life. I have very high hopes for all of this but then I had those when Dave was alive, too. I am naturally a pretty optomistic person, I think.

Sorry I have been slack again. Not much going on. Finally got the funds I was expecting but have not had time to do anything much outside lately. Weather has been perfect but I have just not been in the mood.  Brother is getting married and that has taken precedence over much of what I could be doing but it is all good.
Will be having the field plowed soon and be working on putting together a cattle panel hoophouse and
some new beds. I will have a photo chronicle of all that. Of course, with the holiday coming up on Thursday and the wedding on Saturday, it will be the week after before anything starts happening.
Tractor guy came by today and said he is ready to plow any time I want him to come. I am waiting on a check from the estate and when I get it I will have the funds to pay him, so I am excited I can finally get something positive and productive done towards the new field.

Not exciting to most people but to me it is like being part way up Everest.
